Calling All Car Lovers

Do you have a car that holds a special place in your heart? Maybe it was the car you took on weekend road trips, the one you drove to your first job, or the trusty vehicle that saw your family through countless adventures. For many of us, cars weren’t just a way to get from point A to point B—they were part of the journey itself.

At Bluegrass Seniors Magazine, we want to hear your stories! We’re launching a new initiative for seniors to share their favorite memories of the cars they’ve loved and cherished over the years. Whether it was your first car or the one you couldn’t bear to let go of, we’d love to see your photos and hear your stories.

Why Share Your Story?

Everyone has a close connection with one or more of their previous cars, they were a big part of their lives and we want to share those stories with our readers.  We’ll choose one of the submitted stories and feature it in our next issue of Bluegrass Seniors Magazine.  This will be an ongoing feature, so there will be a new story in each issue, as well as being posted on our website.

How to Get Involved:

1. Find Your Favorite Photo: Do you still have a photo of you and your beloved car? Maybe you’ve got an old snapshot tucked away in an album, or perhaps you can grab a new picture if that car is still around.
2. Share Your Story: In a few sentences, tell us what made that car so special. What adventures did it take you on? What memories come to mind when you think about it?
3. Submit Online: Head over to our submission page and upload your photo and story. It’s easy, and your memories could be featured in an upcoming edition of Bluegrass Seniors Magazine!
